Change management can be extremely complex to implement, while potentially causing schedule delays, and ultimately incurring high costs to the client. It requires the owner and the supporting system owners to work together up front and discuss specific needs while tracking all changes and improvements over a period of time between every template and program update. Research conducted by the Client and TEECOM resulted in identifying the areas where changes were triggered: wireless access points, cable trays, and general systems IDF/technology rooms. Through this exercise we have learned that it wasn't a design error, but new changes getting pushed back into older projects.
Program Management provides structure and standardization for the organization's programs, projects, documentation and change management. The client has come to rely on our expertise and experience in change management. TEECOM helps the client understand upcoming changes, evaluate their feasibility per project and site, and implement the approved changes without disruptions to the schedule. Our efforts are focused on tracking the changes, process documentation, and improving the design. Results include improved quality, efficiency, and reduced costs for the client.
